What appointment setting covers
Appointment setting is the part of sales that ends with a confirmed meeting: the right company, the right person, an agreed time and an invite on your calendar. Everything before that meeting belongs to it. Choosing who to talk to, the first contact, follow-ups, answering questions and agreeing the time.
Lead generation is wider and stops earlier. It produces names, contacts or signs of interest that someone still has to turn into a conversation. Appointment setting takes that work to the point where you only join the call.
The call itself stays with you. You know your offer, your prices and your clients best, so the person who sells is the person who runs the meeting.
How Kouryer books sales meetings
- 01
Ideal client profile
On the kickoff call we agree the industry, company size, market and the role that decides. Everything after that is built on this profile.
- 02
Picked companies
Only companies that match the profile make the list, each with a card that says why it fits. You can exclude anyone before we reach out.
- 03
A check of every company
We read each company's website and note one specific thing that could be fixed or used. The first contact is about their business, not about us.
- 04
Personal outreach
One person per company, a message written for that company and up to two follow-ups. It goes out from separate addresses, so your main domain stays out of it.
- 05
Replies handled for you
Your manager answers every reply in the tone agreed with you, within your plan's window, and flags anything that needs your decision.
- 06
The call on your calendar
We agree the time, send the invite and a reminder. You get the company card and the full thread before the call.
How appointment setting is priced
Providers use three main models. The model matters less than what exactly is included and how a booked meeting is defined.
- Monthly retainer
- A fixed fee for a team and a process, whatever the number of meetings in a given month. Ask what is inside: who picks the companies, who writes the messages, who answers replies and what you see between reports.
- Pay per meeting
- You pay for each meeting that meets agreed criteria. It looks safe, but everything depends on the definition of a qualified meeting, and it can reward volume over fit.
- Base fee plus a bonus
- A lower monthly fee with a payment for each booked or held meeting. It spreads the risk, but needs the same careful definition as pay per meeting.
- Kouryer: a subscription with a written scope
- $1,290, $2,490 or $3,990 a month, plus a $390 setup fee and a 3-month initial term. The plan states how many companies we pick each month, in how many markets, how fast interested replies are answered and how often you talk to your manager.
For reference: lead generation agencies typically charge $3,000-$7,000 a month, plus $1,500-$5,000 setup, according to Smartlead's agency pricing overview.
What makes a meeting worth your time
The company fits
It matches the profile you agreed: industry, size, market. A meeting with a company that can never buy is a lost hour.
The person can act
The one who decides, or the one who owns the problem and brings the decision maker in.
There is a reason to talk
They replied to something specific about their business, not to a generic pitch.
You arrive prepared
Before the call you have the company card, what we noticed on their website and the whole conversation so far.

- 04
What do I see between reports?

- 05
What does the setup cover?
Ours: the client profile, the first list, messaging for your approval and the separate outreach addresses.
- 06
How long is the commitment?
Ours: a 3-month initial term, then month to month. You can change plans from the next billing month.
